Job Opportunities

Applications for the 2009 camping seasons will not be accepted until after January 1, 2009.  This applies to all positions. 

General Qualifications for All Positions: The following qualifications apply to all Baptist Park positions:

• Must have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and be a testimony for Him at home, in the church, and in the world.
• Must view camp ministry as an opportunity to serve the Lord and the campers.
• Must be mature, honest, responsible, willing to follow directions, have a good attitude, be a hard worker, and honor commitments.
• Must not have a criminal record or history of offenses pertaining to children.
• Must be willing to grow spiritually.
• Must agree with the Baptist Park Statement of Faith.
• Must commit to the entire Baptist Park summer program unless otherwise stated in Specific Positions and Qualifications.
• Attendance at staff/leadership training is required.
• Must complete evaluations as directed.
• Must be willing to submit to the organizational structure of Baptist Park and to carry out assigned duties without complaining. A cheerful and excitable attitude is a plus; a positive attitude is a minimal qualification.
• Must be willing to be involved in program/activity assignments as directed.
• Must be willing to share Christ’s love through service. Opportunities to interact with campers, participate in services, campfires, and other activities provide additional ministry opportunities.
